About the Course

I've spent the last year creating The Essentials of English, using everything I've learned from more than 10 years of teaching. Over the years, I've seen the same mistakes and questions come up again and again. I've used this experience to decide which grammar points are really important, explain them in a clear and simple way, and create exercises that help you practise what you've learned. Meet Your Teacher

Hi, I'm Ben! I've been teaching English for over 10 years, helping students from around the world improve their English. I also create English-learning podcasts, including Learn English With News and Parler Anglais, which are listened to by thousands of English learners every month. I've created this course using my experience as a teacher - not just to explain grammar rules, but to focus on the things that actually cause problems for English learners.
